The Skatastrophics are a Houston based Reggae, Rocksteady and Ska band, consisting of members coming together from different bands in their local Ska scene, getting together not only out of musicianship but respect and admiration to each other’s projects, with the sole purpose of blending a elegant Reggae, Rocksteady and Ska outfit to bring the local scene together. Thus, Billy Munoz vocalist of Always Guilty brought together the Skatastrophics with a soaring horn section, hypnotizing organ sound, classic walking bass lines, rhythmic guitar with solid solo’s and a smooth voice on the mic. They create a sound unlike anything else in Houston.
The music echoes Munoz’s deep felt lyrics and soulful voice, you’re sure to enjoy the sound whether standing or dancing with a date. The Skatastrophics have had the many honors of opening for acts such as Lee “Scratch” Perry, The English Beat, The Skatalites, The Slackers, The Toasters and Sister Nancy. With their upbeat Rocksteady and smooth melodic yet seductive Reggae they create a sound that compliments their high energy live performances. The band consist of Billy Munoz (Vocalist), Jacob Garcia (Guitar), David Lopez (Bass), Alex Garcia (Sax), Dan Lopez (Trombone), Gino Garcia(Drums).
The Skatastrophics are currently working on their second studio album and have been nominated for The Houston Press Awards – Best Reggae/Ska Act of 2015. They are also planning on touring the U.S. and overseas soon to spread good vibes and share their feel good music.

-The Six Pack Stranglers (Temple, TX)

The Six Pack Stranglers are a Ska/Punk Rock band based in central Texas. They are known for their upbeat and high energy shows as well as the ability to get the crowd dancing with great 80’s covers...they never disappoint.
Made up of five talented musicians and a drummer, the Six Pack Stranglers have big personalities with plenty of showmanship. Everyone in the band is laid back, outgoing, funny and it translates to the stage.

- Grievance Committee

Grievance Committee is a ska/punk band from the seedy parts of San Antonio with inspirations ranging from The Germs to Dr Dre. Together, these 5 cats bring a wide range of fast, groovy, angry, fat and catchy drinking tunes everyone can skank too.

- The Skams

3 punks that have been playing music for several years but now are calling themselves The Skams, combining the early sounds of two tone such as Madness,the Specials all the way to operation ivy and sublime.
